Core Web Vitals is a ranking factor that paradoxically doesn't improve search results. Correction: Web Stories Still Show In Google Images & Google Fixes Search Console Reporting Bug

In February, Google informed us that they will no longer display Web Stories in Google Image search results. Last night, Google released a clarification, stating that Web Stories had been displayed in Google Images, however, the Web Stories symbol did not appear. To make matters worse, Search Console had a glitch in which it did not disclose these impressions or clicks, leading us to believe that Web Stories were not showing up in Google Image Search.

A logging problem stopped Search Console from reporting on Web Stories in Google Images between August 28, 2023, and March 26, 2024.
